✍️ Author Contributions According to the CRediT Taxonomy

The CRediT (Contributor Roles Taxonomy) provides a standardized classification of the specific roles that each author plays in the creation of a scientific article. This taxonomy enhances transparency, ensures fair credit, and improves the attribution of responsibilities in research publications.

Each author must declare their contribution under one or more of the following roles:

Key CRediT Roles:

  • Conceptualization: formulation of research goals and ideas.

  • Methodology: design of the methodology and models.

  • Software: programming, development of software and algorithms.

  • Validation: verification, replication, and reproducibility of results.

  • Formal Analysis: application of statistical, mathematical, or computational techniques.

  • Investigation: conducting experiments and/or data collection.

  • Resources: provision of study materials, equipment, or tools.

  • Data Curation: data cleaning and maintenance for future reuse.

  • Writing – Original Draft: initial writing and translation of the manuscript.

  • Writing – Review & Editing: critical review, editing, and content improvement.

  • Visualization: creation and presentation of data visualizations.

  • Supervision: leadership and oversight of the research project.

  • Project Administration: coordination and execution of research activities.

  • Funding Acquisition: obtaining financial support for the project.

📌 Note: All declared roles must reflect the actual contribution of each author. This information should be included at the end of the manuscript before the references.
