Floristic Diversity of the Mojanda Mountain Complex, Northern Andes, Ecuador. Common Plants of the Páramo and Montane Forest

The Mojando Mountain Complex is located on the borders of the provinces of Imbabura and Pichincha, is home to 3 Water Protection Areas (Include the names of the areas) and is a refuge for a significant number of Flora and Fauna species. In 2021 a biological exploration was conducted to update the information on its biodiversity and as a result of this study it was possible to update the floristic information of this sector raising the number of records to a total of 551 vs. the 480 species reported in the National Biodiversity Database. Below we present the photographic catalogue of flora, product of the biodiversity study carried out in this part of EcuadorMetrics
