Abstract

The present project was oriented to investigate the vaccination system in the Province of Sucumbíos in the Health District 21D01 Cascales - Gonzalo Pizarro - Sucumbíos. The validation of data from the years of 2018 and 2019 was applied. The purpose of this study is to Determine the Compliance of the Vaccination Scheme in children under 2 years of age and to identify which are the vaccines with the highest number of susceptible and the abandonment rate of the biological of SRP suggests strategies on how to improve vaccination coverage through the intervention of health personnel. The design of this research was retrospective, cross-sectional, descriptive, field and bibliographic. As a result, it was obtained that in the health district the vaccines with the highest number of susceptible persons in 2018 and 2019 are BCG and HB. The coverage of the abandonment rates for 2018 in SRP was 14.7%; in the year 2019 a coverage of 8.66% was reached; the dropout rate allows to identify the percentage of children who did not complete the vaccination scheme in comparison with those who initiated the scheme. According to the health indicators, one of the objectives set is to maintain useful and homogeneous coverage for each biological, which guarantees an indicator of equity. What worries the district level is that not all children under the age of one and 12 to 23 months get the vaccine. Keywords: Vaccination, Toppings, Population, Children, District, Health.
