Focus, Scope and Objectives
Bosques Latitud Cero is a journal edited by the Universidad Nacional de Loja, Ecuador. It is a multidisciplinary, peer-reviewed, open-access journal aimed at professors, students, professionals, and researchers. The publication of articles in *Bosques Latitud Cero* is free of charge, with no article processing charges (APC).
The journal is published semiannually by the Universidad Nacional de Loja, with the objective of contributing to scientific and technological knowledge, thereby promoting the development and strengthening of research at the local, regional, and international levels.
It publishes original works on academic and scientific research topics from internal and external researchers of the Universidad Nacional de Loja. The journal promotes the free transfer of scientific knowledge to both authors and readers by disseminating the results of original scientific research in a wide range of disciplines, including the following research areas:
