Microcredit Benefits and Limitations: Canton Zamora´s case

Abstract

The objective of this article is to analyze the benefits and limitations of microcredit; for this the study focuses on the Zamora canton, capital of the province of Zamora Chinchipe. Thus, through the qualitative study of eight variables will evaluate the impact of microcredit on the micro business and family aspect of those who access this financing. The techniques used for data collection were: non-participant observation, semi-structured interviews and the focus group; at the same time as the qualitative analysis of the information was carried out through the tool Maxqda 12. It should be emphasized that the results obtained through this research, allow to know the repercussions that caused the microcredit in the microentrepreneurs of the canton Zamora to the month April 2017; however, as this is an exploratory type of work; solutions to the problem will not be proposed.
