The assigned values to biodiversity of an area are the basis for achieving their ecological and economic value. The current natural resources characterization was performed and the same that have been frequently used by the population of Manu parish in Saraguro, Ecuador. With the purpose of visualizing toward their own people and to project their existence to possible actions of management of their resources, from a perspective of sustainable use, a situation that can be seen as the improvement of the quality of life of the community. They recognize and describe the different resources that people used and uses, some of the outstanding scenic resources and refers to some of the traditions and legends of Manu townMetrics
